Otto, the 100 lb Bulldog got loose after he and his person were in a car accident 7 weeks ago on Interstate 40. This happened around mile marker 198 near Hazen. In spite of several other sitings, no one has been able to catch him.
Otto is black and white and weighed 100 lbs at the time of the accident. However, in 7 weeks, he's lost weight and his collar now hangs loose. His family has returned to the area numerous times to look for him and also placed an ad in the Prarie Herald.
Linda is the mother of the accident victim and since learning of a sighting on Monday, she has been looking for Otto all day. He was sighted again at 12:30 this afternoon by a road crew so she feels she has his location narrowed down. Linda really needs a few Humane Traps and/or a few people to help her look. The median is not the easiest place to search as there is think underbrush and it's a bit swampy. Of course human safety is paramount.
If you can help in ANY way, please give Linda a call on her cell at 920-889-2455.
