10/4/09---Angel's heartworm treatment left her with heartworms, so she has to have further treatment. She needs sponsors and PRAYERS to get her through more treatment. Won't you help Angel? She had a home to adopt her but now this, so adoption fell through......

4/14/2009 - I am through with my heartworm treatment and am ready for adoption. I will be spayed befor I go to my new forever home.

3/13/2009 - Angel got her 3rd heartworm shot today. Needs to go back in 60 days for blood work

3/10/09- Angel will be getting another heartworm shot and hopefully the last one to treat her. She is a sweet Boxer!!

2/6/2009 - Angel had her 2nd heartworm treatment today

12/12/200- Angel had her 1st heartworm treatment today

8/17/08 UPDATE- Angel is walking around like she never had leg surgery. She is going to start heartworm treatment soon. She is in her foster home after spending a few days at the vet.

8/3/08 UPDATE- Angel is now scheduled to arrive to her foster home in Bossier City on 8/5/08 and she will see the vet.

7/23/08 UPDATE- Report on Angel after her leg surgery "she is walking around like nothing is wrong and she is eating good. There is not a cast and the leg has to be kept from infection".

7/18/08 Angel had leg surgery and is doing well. She will need to gain strength and weight as she is very skinny.

Precious Angel is coming to us from south Louisiana. She is in poor health. She had been hit by a car. You could see the hip ball protruding through the skin. It was broken. She had been in a shelter for the last 15 days to see if the owner would claim her with only minimal pain medicine. They did not show up. She is strong heartworm positive, so will need heartworm treatment and then spayed. She is in need of sponsors to help with her medical bills and treatment. We will keep you posted on her progress.

NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
