Description:
11/3/09- ADOPTED!!

Guess what?  I'm a hero!  Well, I'm female, so maybe that means I'm a "heroine" but I like the sounds of "hero" better!  Okay, here's my story . . . I went through something called a "false pregnancy".  I thought I had pups, but I was tricked and I was full of milk, but that toy I carried around would not nurse! Then, Guess What?  My then owner got a call from a lady who had 8 Boxer puppies whose mother had died while giving birth to them.  She asked if I might be willing to nurse them!  Well, being the precious pup that I am, I said "of course"!  Now I have raised those young'uns for 5 weeks and they are have all left me to go to their furever home!  I need my own furever home very badly.  I always thought that chickens and ducks were for eating!  So I enjoy chasing them and I must admit, that a few of them have not come out of it alive, so my former family gave me up.  I am fairly happy in my foster home where I get to sleep with my 14 year old human brother.  I also know how to sit, stay and down.    Do you have room in your home and your heart for a hero?  If so, fill out an adoption application for me right now because I can't wait to make someone an awesome new family member!

NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
