Scrappy Update- He had a heartworm test and was light positive and vet put him on monthly heartworm prevention of Heartgard. He is ready for adoption!!

10/10/09- UPDATE- New pictures-- Scrappy is a very handsome, sweet dog.  He has a beautiful stance.  He does not like cats and other dogs must be submissive to get along with him. He is in boarding and needs to get out soon before it shuts down. Please put in youir application to foster or adopt ASAP.

10/2/09-- Scrappy is doing better with other dogs particularly female dogs.  He has a lot of energy.  Scrappy still does not like cats. 

5/25/09- Scrappy is now housetrained. He is not good around other dogs and will need a lot of training to be trusted with them. He will need to be an only dog, and no cats. He is in a boarding facility and he is uptight. Would most likely do better in a foster home that had no other pets so he could be loved and worked with.

3/26/09- Scrappy is 3 years old, not housetrained, and does not like cats. He came to the shelter with a female Boxer. He appears to be healthy, happy and sweet, according to the shelter worker. This cute boy needs a foster home or adoption home. He is currently in boarding as we are out of room. Please consider helping Scrappy and I bet he learns the ropes quickly!!

NOTE:
We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
