Description: 5/7/09- Hello everyone, just wanted to say, I am the happies little boy in the world. I am still at the vets being boarded because no one has filled out an application. Tina lets me come to the front of the office and HELP her with her work every day. I am really a good OFFICE Manager! She bought me this pig, and I get to sleep on it and play with it. I love to give kisses, and I know how to sit for a treat. I am a good little boy that wants to find his forever HOME. 3/21/09 UPDATE- Forest is light positive for heartworms and vet recommending monthly heartworm prevention. He is older than we originally thought he was. Can you believe his before and after pictures?? He needs a forever home to love him!!!
2/10/09-Forest has gained enough weight and will be ready for adoption after HW treatment. 12/18/2008-Forest now weighs 59 lbs.
12/9/08- Forest is looking a lot better, but still has a long rode ahead of him. He gained 10 lbs. in the first 10 days, and is sweet as can be.
11/21/08- Looks like Forest was dumped off in the woods to fend for himself. He is extremely emanciated and found by a caring couple who knew he wouldn't make it through the night until they found him, after spotting him earlier in the day. He is very friendly and knows how to sit. He is at a vet office. So far we know he is heartworm positive and full of other worms. The vet will run more tests, give him all his shots, and feed him well. He has a long ways to go and will need your help with medical bills. Will you sponsor this sweet boy and give him a smile??
NOTE: We are not a shelter or pound. We don't have a facility. We are all volunteers who love the Boxers. We have jobs and families and don't have "regular business hours". For this reason, we don't show the dogs until an application has been submitted. Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt a Boxer, but it does tell us that your interest in rescue is serious. We thank you for being considerate of our time and efforts.
